We’ve talked before about how there’s a time and place to do your meditation. I didn’t go into too many details, so I thought I’d clear some things up for you. If you’re wondering why morning meditation is so important, then you’ve come to the right place!

Listen to some relaxing tunes about half an hour before hitting the hay. Combine it with the color visualization technique. The rhythm of the music should help you regulate your breathing and allow you to peacefully drift asleep. Good night!

All you need to make sure is that your body is completely relaxed. Without that, your efforts will be in vain. Keeping your eyes closed is entirely optional. A great tip, however, is not to eat beforehand.

I don’t know about you, but meals make me drowsy. Sure, sleeping can be relaxing. But we’re discussing how to do meditation, not how to doze off. 🙂 Nevertheless, don’t get into it on an empty stomach either. If your meditation place is quiet enough, all you’ll hear is your belly rumbling.

The best guided meditation I have found so far is in a program that offers guides for many different issues, focuses, and strengths. Allow yourself to try meditating in many different ways. Find what works for you.

When starting out I recommend finding a quiet place. Sit, stand, or lay in a comfortable position. The best guided meditation comes from being at your best. If you are not comfortable in anyway, then change. Don’t worry about what others are recommending. You need to always follow your own instincts and feelings.

What is the Best Guided Meditation Program?

There is no right way to begin, but this program here will take you through many journeys. No matter where you are in life there are tracks in the series that will guide you through whatever it is you are looking for.

Is the program I am recommending the only program I recommend? No, there are other great ones. However, if you haven’t tried this one and you are still searching for the best guided meditation then I would give it a try!

No matter which program you choose, just make sure that it feels comfortable to you. I have been through some programs that are confusing, or just different than what I would hope for. Leave it behind and move on. Not every program works for every person.

Meditation is very specific in the sense that each meditation session is focused on something. There are very few times that you just meditate to sit there. Whenever I think about meditation I can hear the meditation music that I use start in my head. Music in meditation is a powerful tool. Meditation music is great at triggering parts of our mind that we don’t usually use. If you have been looking for a great track set I recommend the one at this link. When applying meditation music to your routine don’t forget to look for specific tracks that focus on specific issues. Typically when we set up to meditate we are looking to achieve something. Sometimes that is just zen, peace, stress reduction, etc. Other times it can be searching for money, love, fun, etc. Those two lists are different objectives entirely.

What to Look for in Meditation Music

When looking for meditation music be sure that you focus on the way it makes you feel. I have picked up a few tracks that make me feel uncomfortable based on the way they were recorded. Always choose meditation tracks that make you feel your best. Your goal is to relax, and it is hard to relax when you are outside of your own comfort zone.

As I mentioned before I picked a particular track set because it has some parts that are guided, some music, and focuses on many different aspects of life. No matter what you are going through you can find a track that fits the situation. It is definitely worth checking out this set.

Music that is not specifically made for meditation can be used as meditation music. Find whatever works for you. Just because it isn’t part of standard meditation practices doesn’t mean that you can’t include it. The title “Correct Meditation Techniques” is kind of misleading. When I first started learning about meditation techniques, I quickly found there are many ways to do it. However, it can seem confusing as certain programs tell you exactly how it is done. While I don’t follow any specific meditation techniques, I have found one program to help more than others. Check out the program I use here.

My Thoughts on Meditation Techniques

Because meditation can be done in many different ways, here are my thoughts on technique.

I start by relaxing myself. It doesn’t matter if I sit, stand, lay, or walk. Keeping my mind focus is key. However, I don’t have a preference on eyes open or closed. Sometimes it feels right to sit back and close my eyes. Often I find my eyes open but focusing on something specific. Nature is a great example of steady yet uneven flow. Watching tree branches sway or fire on a candle burn can be a steady experience to help focus. However, using these helps is not necessary.

As I mentioned before, I use the tracks found here for all of my meditation. However using soundtracks is also not necessary. All you need to meditate is your mind and the drive to focus it. I am constantly working to find simple ways to meditate in new ways. Although I do like to follow tracks often, I find that mixing it up with some simplistic methods is also great for me.

No matter what stages of learning to meditate you are in, there is always room to grow. If you feel like your meditation techniques aren’t working, then change them. However, if you feel comfortable in what you are already doing then you should probably stick to your methods. The most important thing to note about meditation techniques is that it is all about how you personally feel.

Recently, you may have heard that you should meditate to relieve stress, but what is meditation? It seems to be a religious, business, and even personal life buzzword that people are highly focused on. We think we know what Meditation is, but really what is it?

I started meditating after I was fired from a job. It became a way of coping with what had happened to me.

What is Meditation:

  • Finding a way to relax in your own way
  • Discovering new things about yourself
  • Leading your mind to focus in new ways
  • Pondering on thoughts and feelings

Why Should I Meditate:

  • Find new ways to cope with stress
  • Explore new ways to do something
  • Connect with yourself and have a personal check in

Knowing that you can start meditating today, do you already know what you want to do? There are many programs out there that can help you get going. I have been doing the same program for a while now and I still love it! You can get it right here! It was well worth it for me to buy the program. However, you should know that you don’t need to buy anything to meditate.
